On May 18, 2024, the Wright & Talisman, P.C. team participated in the 34th Annual Lawyers Have Heart 10K Race, 5K Run, and Fun Walk, joining over 4,000 participants both virtual and in-person at West Potomac Park in raising close to $1.3 million to benefit the American Heart Association (AHA).

“Despite the rainy conditions, we greatly enjoyed participating in the Lawyers Have Heart 5K Fun Walk again this year,” said Elizabeth Trinkle, Wright & Talisman Shareholder. The annual event brings together runners and walkers of all ages and levels of experience to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke.  Every dollar donated contributes to vital research, training more people in lifesaving CPR, medical breakthroughs, and more champions for equitable health.  Lawyers Have Heart enables the legal community, friends and families to support a great cause while improving personal health and building positive relationships.

Lawyers Have Heart is the premier athletic philanthropic event led by the greater Washington D.C. legal community and brings together more than 300 organizations and over 4,000 runners and walkers in support of the AHA.  Since 1991, Lawyers Have Heart has raised over $20 million for the AHA, and each year is one of the largest 10K races in the Washington D.C. area.  Donations can still be made at www.lawyershaveheartdc.org.
