DESCRIPTIVE BIO
Ms. Brentani represents and advises electric utilities in a broad array of regulatory matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), federal courts of appeals, and other regulatory agencies. She has significant experience in matters relating to open access transmission; generation and transmission interconnection; regional transmission organizations and independent system operators; standards of conduct; market-based rate authorizations and renewals; electric energy export authorizations; reorganizations and sales and acquisitions of generation and transmission assets; interlocking directorate position authorizations; credit policies; and drafting tariff language. Ms. Brentani also has experience related to rate regulation including incentive rates and formula rates; complaint and settlement proceedings; and compliance matters.

EDUCATION
Ms. Brentani earned her B.A. in Economics, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania in 1994, and her J.D. from Cornell Law School in 1998, where she was an editor for the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy.
