DESCRIPTIVE BIO
Mr. Binette's practice focuses primarily on the regulation of energy companies. He has represented clients in electric and natural gas pipeline rate cases, rulemakings, litigation, licensing proceedings, regulatory review of transactions, and other matters before federal and state agencies and courts. Prior to joining Wright & Talisman, he was an associate in the Energy and Environmental practice at another Washington, DC law firm. He has also represented the interests of various trade associations in legislative matters before state legislatures and the U.S. Congress.

During law school, Mr. Binette was Comments Editor of the North CarolinaLaw Review and served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Julie E. Carnes, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia - Atlanta Division.

EDUCATION
Mr. Binettte earned his J.D., with honors, from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2003 and received his B.A., magna cum laude, from The American University in 1996.
